Q & A

Q. I am used to this litter bhaving a consistency like sand The latest bag is like talcum powder. Any thoughts?
A.

I'm not certain, but there are 2 possibilities that spring to mind - either your usual batches have been stored in a damp place and this one is unusually dry; or (more likely) you've got a batch that came from the bottom of the storage bin when it was bagged up!
I doubt it's harmful, but if its very dusty, it might be wise to return it - Catsan is made from fine clay granules, and if they're so fine they can be inhaled, it probably wouldn't do the cat much good.

Hope this helps,
