Our membership has around 100 vet clinics and we are conscious that we need to balance cost effective treatment for our patients and their owners with vet practices being able to continue to supply a quality service, especially out of hours.

Our members feel that it is vital to retain the trusting relationship between client and veterinary surgeon, but are also conscious that different routes of supply result in different costs, and especially where long term treatments are concerned the price of veterinary medicines, prescription and over the counter, can become an issue for clients.
