Calmex Capsules for Dogs ingredients

L-theanine, Piper methysticum, L-tryptophan, Vitamin B1,Vitamin B3, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B8, Vitamin B12.

Why are these included, and how do they work?

Piper methysticum

Psychotropic compound with anxiolytic, sedative, muscle relaxan tand anticonvulsant effects; proven action on the hippocampus and the amygdala; clinical trials show it is both safe and effective to help with anxiety, good evidence it is anxiolytic.

L-theanine

Q & A

Q. Can Calmex (dog) be used for cats as we do not have Calmex cat in stock? do the active ingredients differ between products?
A.

Calmex Cat is due to be release next week; we should be getting stock in as soon as it's launched!
Although Calmex for Dogs has the same ingredients, the formulation is a little different; and I'd be concerned about using it in cats because of the risk of overdose.

Q. What time of day do I give calmex to my dog
A.

There's no specific time; you should give the Calmex 30-60 minutes before you need the calming effect (i.e. whenever the stressful event is expected), whenever that might be.
Hope that helps!
