It depends how you define sedative! Neither have sedative effects as in the anaesthesia sense of the word. They are both relaxers, and removers of apprehension and hence the dog will possibly sleep more.
DB myvetmeds - Q. When you put this collar on do you have to remove it when you go out for walks or can you put your own coller on top.
