Capsules can be opened and mixed with food or given whole.
Do not feed on an empty stomach. Feed in conjunction with regular meals.

Q & A
- Q. my dog is on epilease 250mg, a mistake at the vets dispensed 1000mg capsules. He had one dose. The next day he was constantly trying to urinate, and started passing blood. The vet does not think it is the increased dose, but i do, he was the same the first time he took epilease but with out the blood. is this possible

I have to say I would be inclined to agree with your vet. Unless your dog was already in kidney failure, any extra potassium bromide (the active ingredient in Epilease) in his system should have been flushed out naturally; and I certainly doubt it would cause blood to appear in the urine.
