This condition, also called kidney failure, is usually considered irreversible but may be managed with proper care and the right food.
Hills Prescription Diet Canine U/D was developed to help in the management of dogs with the problems associated with advanced kidney disease. Kidney disease causes the kidneys to be less efficient at removing waste substances from the bloodstream and regulating body fluids.
Indications:
Dissolution of urate and cystine uroliths
Prevention of urate, oxalate and cystine uroliths
Renal failure-advanced
Hepatic copper storage disease.
