- Q. will this dreesing be suitable for a rectum discharge of mucus ? It needs to be absorbant.

This isn't really designed to be the absorbant layer of a dressing, its more for the support layer.
If you need an absorbant dressing, I'd suggest something like Allevyn (http://www.myvetmeds.co.uk/search?searchterm=allevyn) instead. If you don't need a whole box of 10, please feel free to contact us about splitting a box into however many you do need.
