About Duphacycline 10% (single 100ml injection)
Oxytetracycline is active against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogenic bacteria, certain rickettsia and the larger viruses. Duphacycline 10% is indicated in the treatment and control of a wide range of common systemic, respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary and local infections caused by, or associated with organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline.

Cattle:
1.5?4.0 mg/kg body weight daily
Pigs:
2.0?9.0 mg/kg body weight daily
Active Ingredient
Duphacycline 10% (single 100ml injection) ingredients
Each ml contains:
100mg Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride, plus Sodium Formaldehyde Sulphoxylate Dihydrate 0.15% w/v as antioxidant.
Side Effects
Side effects of Duphacycline 10% (single 100ml injection)
FOR ANIMAL TREATMENT ONLY
Contraindicated in animals suffering from renal or hepatic damage and in animals with known hypersensitivity to Oxytetracycline.
Dilution with calcium salts will cause precipitation and should be avoided.
Milk taken from treated cows should not be used for human consumption during treatment and for 84 hours after treatment.
Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment. Animals may be slaughtered for human consumption only after 20 days from the last treatment.
General toxicity is low although collapse has been reported with tetracycline in weak or debilitated animals. Wherever possible, the product should only be used based on susceptibility testing.
The use of tetracycline during the period of tooth development, including late pregnancy may lead to tooth discoloration. Duphacycline 10% can be safely administered during lactation.
If you notice any serious effects or other effects not mentioned in this datasheet, please inform your veterinary surgeon.
User warnings:
Take care to avoid accidental injection. Wash hands after use. In case of contact with eyes or skin, wash immediately with plenty of water as irritation may occur.

Normally it should be injected into the muscle, typically into the neck or rump - if in doubt, ask your vet to show you how to do this.
